What else can UPK do?

Print OMNI Procedures

Many of us prefer to see procedures on paper. If this is you, then you're in luck! UPK Online Tutorials now have an option to "Print It!" This feature will create a step-by-step Quick Reference Guide for you to save or print. This printable guide will show each step in the process, but does not include screen shots.

Use the OMNI Training site to find the desired Online Tutorial and click the link to open the Tutorial. First, expand the left-hand menu by clicking on the + sign. Select the Tutorial you would like to print by clicking on it in the left-hand meny drop-down. Once you have a tutorial selected, click on the "Print It!" gold button along the top of the page. Make sure all pop-up blockers are turned off to allow this PDF form to appear.

If you prefer to see screen shots along with step-by-step instructions, we have that too! This printable guide is referred to as a "Training Manual." These can be found on the OMNI Training site. Just click a link to see a PDF version of these steps and screen shots.

Search for Tutorials

Within the Online Tutorial screen, searches can be performed to return all revelant training materials for a particular subject or area. This feature is only available from within the Online Tutorial browser window. To find printable documents for a particular subject, drill to that area from the left-hand menu or enter a keyword in the site's search bar, located at the top of the screen.

From within an Online Tutorial window, enter a keyword into the Search bar and click the magnifying glass button , as pictured below.

Document, Glossary, or Decision Links

While enjoying Online Tutorials in Try It! mode, you may come across linked content. These links may provide easy access to forms or additional information, descriptions of words within the Glossary, or alert you to a Decision. Links always appear as blue, underlined text, but only appear in the Try It! mode. Click on these links from within the Try It1 mode to access additional information. No need to worry! Clicking on these links temporarily pauses your Tutprial while you review additional information.

From time-to-time, you may happen upon a "Decision." Decisions will appear in a bubble, prompting you to choose an action (see below). Click on any option you'd like. Oftentimes, there are multiple ways to search for or enter data. Because of these differences, we've made it easy for you to follow a similar process in the Online Tutorial as you would in live OMNI. You may also repeat the Tutorial, selecting another option if you'd like. So, don't delay - Decide!
