Helpful Hints!

Here are solutions to some of the most common difficulties users experience on the OMNI Training site:

• Can't open Online Tutorials? Turn off your pop-up blocker to enable the Online Tutorial window to appear.

• Can't see/read the Tutorial's bubbles? Try adjusting your screen resolution to 1024x768.

• Still can't see/read text? Remember, it may be necessary to scroll up and down or left and right within a tutorial to view the full screen or read all bubble text.

• Playback Modes don't appear or are grayed out? Only Internet Explorer will allow you to view all 4 available Playback Modes (See It, Try It, Know It, and Do It). You may also use Mozilla Firefox, however only the first 3 of the 4 Playback Modes will be available.

• Difficulty using Safari? Currently, Online Tutorials are not supported in Safari. This means Online Tutorials will NOT function properly using this browser. If available, try using Internet Explorer or Firefox instead.

• Don't have Internet Explorer? Printable Training Guides are available on this page for users without access to IE or Firefox.

• Difficulty with Do It! mode? Remember, Do It! mode is only compatible with Internet Explorer. Ensure you're using IE first. If you are still experiencing difficulties using this mode with IE, follow these steps:

For IE 6:

1. 1. From within IE, navigate to: Tools > Internet Options > Security
   2. Click on the Internet (world) icon.
   3. Click "Custom Level" button.
   4. Scroll all the way down the list and find "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraint."
   5. Select the "Enable" radio button for this option.
   6. Click OK
   7. Try Do It! mode again, by selecting a topic then clicking "Do It!"

For IE 7:

1. 1. From within IE, navigate to: Tools > Internet Options > Security
   2. Click on the Internet (world) icon.
   3. Click "Custom Level" button.
   4. Scroll all the way down the list and find "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraint."
   5. Select the "Enable" radio button for this option.
   6. Click OK.
   7. Warning window will appear.
   8. Click "Yes" to ensure you want to change these settings.
   9. Click OK.
   10. Try Do It! mode again, by selecting a topic then clicking "Do It!"
